To use this app, you will need to own a Synology NAS and have the latest version of Cloud Station 3.2 installed on your DiskStation. This will ensure that you can access all of the app's features.

With the release of Android 6.0, there have been changes to the path of the external SD card. As a result, devices that have been upgraded to Android 6.0 may lose the configurations of sync tasks if the local directory is located on the external SD card. The data, however, remains intact, but you will need to re-create the sync tasks.

DS cloud does not currently support syncing folders located on the external SD card, other than the DS cloud directory, for devices running Android 4.4 and later versions.

If you are using a Samsung smartphone running Android 6.x and have added files from the "My Files" app, DS cloud is unable to sync these files due to limitations in the app's design. In this case, it is recommended to use third-party File Explorer apps to add files into DS cloud for syncing.

DS cloud serves as the companion app to Cloud Station for your Android device. It allows you to select specific folders on your DiskStation to sync with your mobile device, making them available for offline viewing. Additionally, DS cloud provides you with complete control over the sync criteria, allowing you to set the maximum file size and choose the file types you wish to sync for each folder.
